Conte: Thank You, Diego Costa

Leapyguide.com - Chelsea have agreed to sell Diego Costa to his old club, Atletico Madrid. For all of Costa's contribution to Chelsea, Antonio Conte thanked him.

Chelsea and Atletico reportedly reached an agreement at 60 million euros for Costa transfers. This transfer will be completed once the player passes a medical test and takes care of a personal agreement with Atletico.

Costa uniformed Chelsea for three seasons with a contribution of 58 goals in 120 matches. He won two Premier League titles, one of them last season with Conte.

However, Conte has decided that Costa has not been part of his plans this season and has brought in Alvaro Morata as a substitute. Conte and Costa have also been involved in disputes in the media in recent times.

Even so, Conte remains grateful for the services of Costa during the Chelsea.

"We want to thank him for what he has done with this club," said Conte ahead of the game against Stoke City.

"We wish him the best for his future, I do not forget that we won together last season," he added.

"I repeat, of course we want to thank him for his contribution with us last season, not just last season, but as long as he played for Chelsea," Conte said on Soccerway.

Atletico is undergoing sanctions prohibiting players, making the new Costa really can be registered as a new player in January. Costa himself spent four years Los Colchoneros before joining Chelsea in July 2014
