MU Won 'Treble' in Mourinho's First Season


Jose Mourinho's first season at Manchester United in general is arguably satisfactory. He led the Red Devils grabbed a 'treble'.

Manchester United won the Europa League final against Ajax Amsterdam. In a match that took place at Friends Arena, Stockholm, Thursday (05/25/2017) early morning GMT, 'Red Devils' won with the final score 2-0.

Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan became determinants of MU's victory. Pogba's goal scored in the first half, while Mkhitaryan early in the second half.

With this success, Mourinho's decision to sacrifice the English League to get the trophy was paid off completely. They also successfully secured a spot in the Champions League next season.

Before this, MU has secured two trophies. Their English League Cup success is won. In the final game, Manchester United successfully beat Southampton in the final match which took place on 26 February.

While one other event is Community Shield. Manchester United defeated Premier League champions 2015/2016, Leicester City.

Mourinho also recorded a slick record while undergoing a final match at the European championships with teams he took care of. In the four finals, he always managed to become champion.

The Special One successfully won the Champions League with Inter Milan and FC Porto. While in the Europa League, he successfully became a winner with MU and Porto.
